YORK, Pa. – Rutter’s Children’s Charities raised more than $175,000 for Central Pennsylvania charities at its 15th annual golf outing this week.

Since its beginning in 2002, the two-day golf outing has raised more than $1.72 million for children’s charities in Central Pennsylvania. Participants at this year’s outing included several of Rutter’s key suppliers, executives and family members. The outing was the most successful to date, and the golf monies will fund $100,000 for the 2017 Rutter’s Vote with Your Dollars and Rutter’s Rewards Schools.

“Working with our key partners to help raise money to support local charities and schools through our annual golf outing is a true passion. We generated strong support that will allow us to continue to deliver a positive impact on our local communities—this is what Rutter’s Children’s Charities is all about,” said Scott Hartman, Rutter’s CEO and president.
