WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. – QuickChek customers and employees will have the opportunity to demonstrate great support for post-9/11 military families through its $1 “dog tag” promotion. The convenience store chain will donate sales from the in-store promotion to Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to “restoring a sense of self, family and hope to service members and military families.”

QuickChek customers can purchase $1 “dog tags” in support of military families now for the third year. Each dog tag purchased can be signed and posted in QuickChek stores to show support of military heroes. The in-store promotion begins May 7 and will run through June 4.

Operating 142 stores throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island, QuickChek’s mission is to be a “great place to work, a great place to shop and a great place to invest,” according to a press release. The company’s strategies, including this in-store promotion, aim to be grounded in that mission.

“We’re pleased to honor and support our service members and their families who give so much of themselves,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. The company has raised millions of dollars to support a variety of causes benefiting children, families and veterans.
