By taking the survey, retailers can help PCATS enhance the collection of lottery data.

STAFFORD, VA - The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) is asking retailers to complete a short survey to gain a better understanding of the time retailers spend on the lottery reconciliation process, which lottery boards are providing electronic files to retailers, the types of files being received by retailers and more.

"As retailers, we need to present a realistic view of our needs to lottery boards if we expect to see positive changes. With your help, we can push for better data tomorrow," said Donna Perkins, chairman of the PCATS EB2B Lottery Working Group. "By taking the short survey, retailers can help improve the flow of lottery data," she added.

Members of the PCATS Electronic Business-to-Business (EB2B) Lottery Working Group, whose members include representatives from the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), individual state lotteries, retailers and suppliers, created the survey. The working group studies standards-based, real-time integration of lottery activity in the retail channel.

Retailers completing the survey will be entered into a drawing on May 17 for an opportunity to win a $100 gift card from PCATS thanks to Gilbarco Veeder-Root and The Pinnacle Corporation. For more information, contact Donna Perkins at (865) 977-7070 or donnap@ezstop.net.
