PCATS Announces Appointment of Linda Toth as Manager of Standards

Toth has been involved with the standards since the beginning.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) announced that Linda Toth has joined its staff as manager of standards.

Linda brings to PCATS almost 25 years of retail petroleum industry experience as a senior software developer. She was the principal software architect behind the EECO System automatic tank gauge line for OPW Fuel Management Systems. She subsequently worked for VeriFone, Inc. developing applications for the Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz and EPS Point of Sale products.

Linda has been involved with the PCATS Technology Standards since their inception, having served as chair of the Tank Gauge working group, chair of the Electronic Sign working group and vice chair of the Device Integration Committee. She has also served on the Tank Gauge, Environmental Sensors and Line Leak Detection working groups for the IFSF standards in Europe.

As manager of standards, she will be responsible for ensuring that our documentation is complete and adheres to our internal requirements for publication," said PCATS Deputy Executive Director Scott Wood, in a press release. "I??m confident that Linda will be a valuable contribution to our efforts establishing standards for the industry."
