GLENDALE, Calif. – Glendale, California, residents can get a fix for their Whopper cravings without leaving their homes. The Glendale Burger King is testing a delivery service that would bring the restaurant’s food right to the customer, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Glendale location joins Houston, Miami and Washington, D.C., areas with Burger King delivery options. Franchisee Bob Stevens decided to pilot the program at one of his eight Burger King stores.

Stevens hired five drivers to shuttle food to addresses within a 10-minute drive of the restaurant. Burger King has special food containers similar to the ones used by pizza delivery shops that will keep fries fresh and burgers hot.

Fast-food delivery might still be a novelty in the United States, but oversees, it’s been a staple in several countries. Shanghai KFC and McDonald’s locations deliver to customers, while McDonald’s in the Philippines provide delivery 24/7.
