QuikTrip Lands on ‘Companies That Care’ List

People magazine names top U.S. companies that demonstrate respect and compassion for their workforce.

NEW YORK – Tulsa, Oklahoma-based QuikTrip has been named to People magazine’s Companies That Care list, ranking No. 38 among 50 companies that stand out for their extraordinary generosity and caring for their employees and communities.

Published by People magazine, the Companies That Care list highlights the top U.S. companies with 1,000 or more employees that have succeeded in business while also demonstrating respect, compassion and concern for their employees, their communities and the environment.

QuikTrip has also been awarded:

  • Best Workplaces in Texas 2017 (ranked 15)
  • Best Workplaces for Giving Back 2017 (ranked 45)
  • Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For 2017 (ranked 68)
  • Best Workplaces in Retail 2016 (ranked 5)
  • Best Workplaces for Millennials 2016 (ranked 31)

People magazine partnered with Great Place to Work to produce the ranking. Rankings are based on 368,298 employees' responses to survey questions asking them to rate how their companies treat them on a day-to-day basis. Rankings also take into account employees' personal stories about the difference their workplaces have made in their lives and in their communities, and the generosity of their organization's benefits, financial donations and volunteerism.
