Leadership Skills Development Leads to High Performance

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The NACS Executive Leadership Program, a program for emerging c-store leaders, assists senior executives in attaining the leadership skills needed to successfully respond to the challenges of a competitive marketplace. Registration is underway for this year’s program, which takes place on the campus of Ivy League Cornell University, August 3-7.

This powerful program offers individuals taking on key leadership positions in your company the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, which can translate into high performance teams. Participants will learn from prestigious faculty members of the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (ranked fifth in Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s rankings of undergraduate business programs), the Johnson Graduate School of Management for as well as from top leaders from within the convenience and fuel retailing industry.

New to the program for 2014 is Howard Stoeckel, vice chairman of Wawa Inc., who will deliver his perspective on servant leadership. "This program offers executives much more than new ideas and solutions; it provides them with new perspectives, new contacts and new resources to tap in addressing tomorrow's business challenges," he said.
