An upstate New York convenience store sold the winning $319 million Mega Millions lottery ticket.

ALBANY - The ticket has been claimed, and seven state workers are each $28.9 million-dollars richer.

A New York State Lottery spokesperson confirmed that the winning $319 million Mega Millions lottery ticket from last Friday night's drawing has been claimed, FOX23 News reports.

The Coulson??s News Center in Albany sold the lucky winners their ticket. Storeowner Steve Hutchins told the news source that folks he hasn??t talked to in years have been contacting him, mainly to find out what his portion of the winnings will be for selling the ticket.

Co-workers of the winners at the New York State Homes and Community Renewal confirmed that they were short seven employees on Monday morning.

Local residents, such as Leo Bolaski, are also in disbelief. "I love it! And at Coulson??s of all places?" And he??s also jealous.

"I get my paper, you know, my chips and my lottery ticket here every day, and it??s like, 'oh, are you kidding me? I missed it.?? But I tried! What are you gonna do?"
