The flavor is the latest in a line of revivals for the soft drink company.

PURCHASE, N.Y. – Mountain Dew has reached back into its vaults to revive another flavor, this time Mtn Dew Pitch Black, Marketing Daily reports. However, the grape-flavored soda will only be available as a fountain drink at Speedway convenience stores now through June. In addition, some Speedway stores will also have the flavor as a Speedy Freeze drink.

Mtn Dew Pitch Black debuted originally as a limited-time offer during October 2004 to tie in with Halloween. Since then, the beverage has become one of the most-asked-about LTO sodas on social media, according to Melissa Miranda, director of marketing for PepsiCo Foodservice.

This isn’t the first time Mountain Dew has rewarded fans with short runs of Mtn Dew Pitch Black. In December 2015, for example, consumers attempted to win samples of the soda in a social media sweepstakes.

This time around, the deal with Speedway targets the brand’s heavily young, male consumer base via another sweepstakes to promote the LTO. Prizes for fans posing with the Mtn Dew Pitch Black drink in a Speedway location include a variety of Pitch Black merchandise.

Mountain Dew has other flavors in the works too, including Mtn Dew Black Label, which is berry flavored and made with cane sugar. The company initially rolled out Black Label on university campuses.
