ALEXANDRIA, VA – The 2014 State of the Industry (SOI) Summit, taking place April 1-3 in Chicago, has so far attracted more than 400 attendees — retailers, suppliers and other industry stakeholders who will get the first look at exclusive convenience and fuel retailing industry performance metrics.

Past attendees convey the Summit’s value best. “The SOI Summit gives our company the platform and data to be able to benchmark ourselves against the industry, both short- and long-term. Based on the data presented, we’ll make adjustments to our tactics and overall business strategy to mirror what is currently happening and what will happen in our channel of trades,” said Quinn Ricker, CEO and president of Anderson, Indiana-based Ricker’s.

New this week, seven unique Retailer Hot Topic Sessions  have been added to the schedule. Speakers will provide insightful analyses into the performance drivers that matter most to retailers, from foodservice to tobacco to category management.

In addition to an up close and personal look at the latest numbers, attendees will also have access to more than 12 hours of dedicated networking time with industry peers, beginning with an opening night reception on Tuesday, April 1. “When you attend the SOI Summit, you are surrounded with the top companies and executives in the industry. And, when you put the right people and the right data in the same room, you have a powerful catalyst for advancing yourself and your company,” said Ricker.

Now through March 31, retailers have the opportunity to attend the 2014 SOI Summit for free, just by participating in the NACS State of the Industry survey. Companies that submit their confidential data on or before the deadline will receive up to three complimentary passes to the SOI Summit and one published copy of the NACS State of the Industry Report of 2013 Data (a $1,200 value).

Register now and see how you can use benchmarking to stimulate growth and profit in your stores. The deadline to register is Monday, March 24.
