SAN ANTONIO – Last week c-store chain CST Brands Inc. and it’s CEO, Kim Bowers, hosted an appearance by Reagan Imhoff, a 8-year-old ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association who is touring the U.S. and speaking at events and conferences, writes the San Antonio Business Journal.

While at the store, Imhoff asked for donations from Corner Store customers for CST’s current Shamrock campaign, which runs March 4-31. Last year the store raised more than $9,000 for MDA, making it one of the top three fundraising stores in the San Antonio area, writes the news source.

CST, operator of Corner Store convenience stores, is one of MDA’s biggest sponsors through its annual Shamrock campaign, raising a record $2.3 million through the sale of $1 and $5 paper shamrocks in 2013.
