DUBLIN, Ireland – Convenience and fuel retailer Topaz has launched its newest Re.Store retail offering in Ballincollig, Co Cork, marking the 100th store opening of the retailer’s latest convenience concept.

Since its launch in April 2015, the Re.Store concept has transformed the landscape of service stations across Ireland. Offering numerous choices in food and coffee to consumers on the go, Re.Store has brewed four million cups of coffee and served more than one million sandwiches and wraps throughout Ireland.

At Re.Store, coffee is a passion taken very seriously. Expertly-trained baristas handcraft aromatic blends of coffee from freshly ground beans every day. Customers can also relax and recharge with their hot brews inside the store, which features complementary Wi-Fi and seating.

“Almost one year ago, we announced our ambition to revolutionize the forecourt experience and completely redefine our food and coffee offer in keeping with the changing dietary habits and needs of our customers,” said Sean Moriarty, Topaz’s retail director. “[W]e offer an unparalleled selection of healthy and wholesome food, using Irish-sourced ingredients combined with an exceptional range of quality coffees across 100 forecourts in Ireland, with plans to continue the rollout over 2016.”

In June 2015, Topaz won the NACS Insight 2015 International Convenience Retailer of the Year Award for its Re.Store convenience forecourt concept. The award, sponsored by Imperial Tobacco Group, was presented on the final evening of the NACS Insight Convenience Summit – Europe in London. Registration for the 2016 event is underway; the event begins in Stockholm, Sweden, June 5-7, then heads to London June 7-10 and wraps up in Dublin, Ireland, on June 11.
