SAN JOSE, CA - A trial mobile payment program that PayPal launched at a handful of The Home Depot stores earlier this year is being expanded to all 2,000 U.S. The Home Depot stores, Mobile Payments Today reports.
Don Kingsborough, PayPal??s VP of Retail and Prepaid Products, posted the news on the company??s blog, revealing a complete rollout within the next two weeks. Customers will then be allowed to use a PayPal card or enter their mobile number and PIN combination to pay.
Kingsborough characterized The Home Depot integration as "a great milestone" and one that is just the beginning for the company.
"[PayPal will] continue re-imagining money to make it work better for our retail partners and their valued customers," he said.
