ALEXANDRIA, VA - Here??s two things you need to do: submit your data and attend the NACS State of the Industry Summit.

NACS has compiled and presented performance data for the U.S. convenience industry since 1969. And as the industry has grown and become more sophisticated, so has the methodology for our data collection and analysis.

By sharing your company??s data, you become a part of the most comprehensive collection of firm level, store level and category data and trends in the industry. And while other organizations might forecast the future of the convenience industry, they use our data to develop their predictions.

Your data also fuels the content of the annual NACS State of the Industry Report, the convenience and fuels retailing industry??s premier benchmarking tool, not to mention the most comprehensive collection of data and trends. Inside the pages of the report you??ll find valuable information you can use to maximize your company??s growth and profitability.

Submitting data is easy ?" and all submissions are kept strictly confidential. From now until March 25, visit soisurvey.com and complete the State of the Industry survey. Then, e-mail the completed survey to Vicki Kristoff, CSX manager of quality assurance, at vkristoff@csxllc.com.

Retailers who share their data will receive a complimentary NACS State of the Industry Summit registration and a free NACS State of the Industry Report in June (a combined $1,250 value!). Purchasers of the report will also receive the NACS Convenience Store Industry Fact Book as a downloadable, self-extracting file.

New for 2011: Retailers who do not participate in the annual State of the Industry survey or submit data via Study Groups or CSX will be charged $999 (for up to three participants) to attend the State of the Industry Summit.

Basically, if you don??t submit your data, you??d have to sell nearly 3,000 cups of coffee to make up for what you??d be paying to attend the Summit. Share and save!

The Main Event: NACS State of the Industry Summit
