CHICAGO - The Illinois Lottery is launching its first family of new games in two years, Chicago Business Journal reports. Called "The Good Life," tickets will be priced from $1 to $10 and sold at more than 8,100 Lottery retailers across Illinois.

The Good Life offers 20-year payouts as well as monthly prizes that range from $4,000 to $40,000.

Grand prize winners in the $1 ticket category will receive a $1.04 million payout over 20 years, with those in the $10 category receiving $10.4 million over 20 years.

While GL tickets initially will be sold at retailers, "Future games within the family may include those sold through terminals, over the Internet, and with significant prizes beyond just cash," said Illinois Lottery Superintendent Michael Jones.

A TV ad campaign featuring comedian Andy Richter, scheduled to break February 25, will promote the launch of the jackpot alert commercial campaign.
