ALEXANDRIA, Va. – From data breaches to malware and ransomware, every business is vulnerable to a cyberattack. What can businesses do to protect themselves from attacks, and what can they do to prepare for broader threats beyond their control?

The latest NACS Convenience Matters podcast, “Cyberattacks on Your Business,” features Conexxus Executive Director Gray Taylor, who examines potential cyberattacks that most businesses face, and what they can do to mitigate their risk.

“Our industry sells convenience and any disruption to our model could have a profound effect on our ability to serve customers,” said program co-host Jeff Lenard of NACS. “In addition, we are recognized by the government as critical infrastructure to the nation’s economy, so we play a big role in protecting our systems. Gray does a great job in both laying out the scary, big picture and providing tips that retailers should immediately implement.”
