Wendy's Engages Customers With Digital Promotion

Thousands of fans can submit names for their favorite tasty trio in exchange for the chance to win prizes and recognition on Wendy's digital properties.

DUBLIN, Ohio - Wendy??s announced earlier this week that its "Claim Your Taste" digital experience promotion, which solicits names for customers?? favorite tasty trio offerings, has been successfully tapping the creative talents of its customers this month.

Since it launched on January 1, the CYT website has garnered 150,000 visits, with thousands of fans staking a name claim to one of the 4,896 tasty trios from Wendy??s Right Price Right size Menu, which features 18 items priced from 99 cents to $1.99.

For those craving a Double Stack with fries and a soft drink, perhaps it??s Dubyum Crispy Fizzy. Or Stack French Cokie. Or, well, you get the idea.

"Wendy??s consumers have thoroughly engaged with the 'Claim Your Taste?? digital experience," said Bob Holtcamp, senior vice president of brand marketing, Wendy??s. "We know online consumers like to describe and name their favorite foods. Our digital promotion is a fun way for our fans to interact with the new Right Price Right Size value menu."

Wedny??s held a "Claim Your Taste" lunch party earlier this week at Chicago??s Union Station, during which consumers had the opportunity to win prizes by participating in a Tasty Trio Bean Bag Toss game, which tied-in with Wendy??s new Right Price Right Size Menu flavor cues.

Customers participating in "Claim Your Taste" are eligible to win a series of prizes for sharing their tasty trio on Facebook or voting for others?? combinations. Entrants may also find their Facebook profile and picture, along with their menu selection, on Wendy??s Facebook page, website, and banner ads.
