WESTLAKE, Ohio – TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands and Minit Mart convenience store brand, is kicking off the New Year by offering professional drivers helpful options for maintaining a healthier lifestyle.

“We’re committed and proud to help our customers manage their health and be an integral part of their solution to eating better and exercising while they are out on the road,” said Tom O’Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters.

TravelCenters are presenting more better-for-you food offerings, fitness options and helpful information from its StayFit program to encourage drivers to get fit and stay healthy this New Year. Drivers can find a wide variety of StayFit items and activities throughout the travel centers, such as healthier grab-and-go snacks and beverages including yogurt and fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also many dining options noted with the StayFit symbol on select full-service restaurant menus at participating TA and Petro locations.

StayFit exercise options include fitness rooms, walking/running trails, basketball hoops and outdoor fitness areas at many locations. In addition, many sites now offer horseshoe and bean bag toss recreation options. Drivers can also purchase fitness accessories such as push up bars, resistance bands, hand grips and workout gloves.
