MILL, SC - Millers Produce and Gas station, located 300 yards from the North Carolina border, has undergone its third expansion in the past seven years, capitalizing on a large price disparity in state fuel taxes that has spiked demand at its station from North Carolina residents, WBTV.com reports.

North Carolina??s gas tax is now the sixth highest in the country, which has created a 30 cents per gallon price difference between Millers and its North Carolina competitors. As a result, the station, which now features 24 pumps (up from four seven years ago), is continuously inundated with business.

"Saving 20 to 25 cents, that makes a difference," said Tim Peyton, a North Carolina resident.
